Charity auction of Bob Birch bass

A Music Man Stingray maple 5-string fretless bass from the private collection of Bob Birch is up for auctio on eBay with all proceeds going towards the Elton John Aids Foundation.
Bob, Elton's bass player from 1992 until his tragic death in 2012, used this instrument on stage from approximately 1992-1995, eltonjohn.com reports. The Music Man Stingray's retail price is $1500-2000.
The auction is open to everyone, regardless of country and that the shipping costs will be the responsibility of the winning bidder.
