While Elton and David were tying the knot in Windsor, I was back home in Munich, Germany, answering the phone almost nonstop.

Since the beginning of this week, I think I have had at least one phone call or e-mail from almost every news agency and television station on this planet. Besides the usual media contact made by German TV broadcasters such as RTL, ARD and ZDF, I was also contacted by various reporters from media giants such as CNN or the BBC.

In addition to questions about what I felt about Elton and David's civil partnership, some stations went as far as to try to track down Elton's ex-wife Renate Blauel.

It's been fun and as well as an honor to be treated as an reliable source of information, but I am quite happy this is over now.
